Police Officer

At the City of Carlin, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team. As a Police Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining public safety and protecting our community.

• Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime, and to enforce laws and regulations.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to the public.
• Investigate crimes and gather evidence to support prosecutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the community to build trust and promote public safety.
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share intelligence and best practices.

• Nevada Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Category I certification.
• Valid Nevada driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

As a Police Officer, you will work in a variety of environments, including patrol vehicles, police stations, and community settings. You will be exposed to stressful situations and may be required to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
