Project Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Project Management to join our team at John Paul Mitchell Systems. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional project teams to drive project and program planning and execution across various functions.
Key responsibilities will include managing project plans, collaborating with R&D, operations, and legal teams, and ensuring milestones, goals, and budget are achieved and risk is effectively managed. You will also be responsible for communicating project status to leadership and providing decision analysis expertise and tools to the teams for strategic planning and operational execution.
What You Will Do- Develop and execute project plans to drive project and program planning and execution across various functions
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and legal teams to ensure successful project outcomes
- Manage project risks and ensure effective risk mitigation strategies are in place
- Communicate project status to leadership and stakeholders
- Provide decision analysis expertise and tools to the teams for strategic planning and operational execution
- 10+ years of professional experience in project management, with a focus on regulated environments
- Experience leading cross-functional project teams and managing project risks
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and manage ambiguity in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with MRP, ERP, WMS environments
The expected base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $165,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors, including geographic location, experience, skills, and education. In addition to base salary, JPMS offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees, including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, disability insurance, retirement savings plans, and company match.
