We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team at State Farm Insurance. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys with discovery, medical summaries, and billing summaries, as well as deposition and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in Insurance Defense or Personal Injury. You will be responsible for preparing disclosures, discovery responses, medical record summaries, and trial preparation. Strong software/technical skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat, are required.

We offer a congenial, team-oriented professional work environment with skilled support staff. Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, we enjoy an active, busy civil trial practice. Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys with discovery, medical summaries, and billing summaries
  • Prepare deposition and trial preparation materials
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Court Rules and Procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve goals and objectives

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree and/or paralegal certificate
  • 1-5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably Insurance Defense or Personal Injury
  • Familiarity with Court Rules and Procedures
  • Strong software/technical skills specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
