Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and driven Commercial Plumbing Estimator to oversee our commercial division. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to providing precise estimates and enhancing team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
The Commercial Plumbing Estimator will be responsible for:

  • Achieving and surpassing team sales and profitability goals.
  • Delivering exceptional service that meets customer expectations.
  • Creating and implementing strategic plans to meet sales objectives and expand the client base.
  • Building and maintaining robust relationships with both team members and clients.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their business needs and goals.
  • Meeting team lead generation targets for the Commercial Department.
  • Effectively communicating the value proposition and core values of the company.

Essential Duties:
To succeed in this role, the individual must effectively perform the following duties:

  1. Lead and guide team members to achieve departmental objectives.
  2. Implement approved sales strategies to meet revenue and profit targets.
  3. Ensure compliance with company policies and standards among technical staff.
  4. Recruit, train, and orient new employees to maintain staffing levels.
  5. Oversee the client work order process and ensure completion verification.
  6. Establish long-term work schedules for field staff to ensure adequate coverage.
  7. Monitor sales performance and initiate corrective actions as necessary.

Supportive Duties:
Additional responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring commercial plumbing bid opportunities and ensuring timely submissions.
  • Addressing client concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Following up on work orders and invoices from start to finish.
  • Adjusting pricing based on established guidelines.
  • Developing and executing field action plans.
  • Reviewing contracts and scopes of work for potential projects.
  • Preparing necessary job materials and documentation.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of estimation experience, preferably in commercial plumbing.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong numerical and communication skills.
  • Leadership abilities and a focus on customer satisfaction.
