About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to drive positive change in clinical supply expense management. As a Clinical Resource Director, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the supply expense agenda for our clinical resource management program. Your expertise will play a crucial role in developing and executing product standardization with value analysis committees, reviewing and optimizing group purchasing organization contracts, and identifying facility supply expense variances.

You will work closely with hospital leadership, physicians, and supply chain teams to execute the clinical supply expense plan. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to build strategic alliances and develop action plans to mitigate increases in supply expense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements facility or division-based strategies and processes to reduce supply expense per adjusted admission
  • Identifies facility(s) supply expense variances and develops action plans to mitigate an increase in supply expense; participates in monthly operating reports and supply expense planning
  • Participates, develops content, and facilitates value analysis meetings such as facility based, division based, service line, or physician led meetings
  • Utilizes clinical product value analysis committees to review products and technology for clinical evidence and benefit; discusses financial considerations to include contract compliance, cost, and reimbursement; maintains or increases product quality and patient outcomes
