Job Description

KIPP North Carolina Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified 6th Grade ELA/Humanities Teacher to join our team. As a member of our faculty, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students and helping them achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that align with state and national standards
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students, particularly those who require additional assistance
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly to ensure optimal learning outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Valid North Carolina teaching license or ability to obtain within specified timeframe
  • At least two years of teaching experience; preference given to candidates with experience working with diverse populations
  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design and delivery
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
