This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Patient Care Associate. In this role, you will assist with:

  • Performing vital signs, height, weight, and screening procedures
  • Establishing good relationships with members
  • Communicating pertinent patient observations to the healthcare team
  • Running lab tests and processing patient specimens
  • Providing exceptional customer service and making patients comfortable
  • Entering information into our electronic health record, Athena Health
  • Functions as a team member in emergency situations
  • Performing phlebotomy procedures and using proper body mechanics
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Successful completion of a NYS Certified Nursing Attendant program, Medical Assistant program, or other state-licensed program such as EMT, required OR completion of two years of clinical coursework actively pursuing RN, ACP, or MD degree
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $25-$30 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
