At David E Thome DDS PLLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Fuquay-Varina, NC. This is a full-time position with flexibility to travel to assist our Salisbury and Afton offices.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and the cost of living in the area. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, successful completion of a dental assistant program, and dental x-ray certification. Coronal Polishing Certification and additional certifications such as nitrous oxide administration are desired but not required.

This role requires excellent communication and people skills, understanding of health & safety regulations, and strong knowledge of dental software. The ability to interact effectively with persons from diverse backgrounds, exercise sound judgment, and initiative, and maintain confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities will include assisting dentists during various treatment procedures, reviewing patient charts daily, maintaining adequate supplies, educating patients on oral hygiene strategies, and taking and developing dental radiographs. The selected candidate must be able to function independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
