Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated product engineer to own and manage the customer experience for our Software Solutions for ML Inferencing. This role involves facilitating customer onboarding, delivering best-in-class customer experience, and working with R&D, marketing, and key customers to drive the evolution of the product.

The Successful Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, capable of presenting problems, solutions, and project status to executive-level stakeholders. They will assume consultative or senior-level responsibilities for large projects or product development initiatives, dealing with internal and external groups on behalf of the group or project.

Key Responsibilities:
Enable end-to-end AI inferencing solution productization by evaluating solutions targeting AMD's CPU/NPU/Embedded devices. This role involves extensive flow and usability analysis and generating performance data for model inferencing flows. Develop use cases, examples, tutorials, and methodology collaterals for AI inference software components and ecosystems. Engage with software developers to collaborate on product development, analyze product/feature specifications and usability to provide early feedback, and understand product/feature usage holistically to identify potential customer pain points. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams on strategic business engagements. Work closely with R&D to prioritize issues and manage escalations.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
MSEE with 3-10 years (or more) of experience in relevant areas. Experience working with AI frameworks such as PyTorch and ONNX. Work experience with state-of-the-art models in one or more domains: CNN, Transformers, LLMs, Generative AIs. Experience in model analysis (CNN, LLM), performance, benchmarking, and accuracy testing. Experience in quantizing and pruning ML networks is preferred. Experience working on and managing open-source AI projects is preferred. Hands-on experience with Python, C, and C++. Expertise with popular development tools such as Git, CMake, Make, Conda, Docker, VSCode, bash, Linux. Ability to think from the end-user's perspective, understand their needs, and advocate for them. Documentation skills with the ability to present solutions clearly and concisely. Good project management skills. Familiarity with AI inference SDKs (e.g., Vitis AI, TensorRT, OpenVINO, SNPE) or AI accelerators will set you apart from other candidates.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Masters in computer engineering or computer science or electrical engineering, or comparable disciplines
