Medical Director, Oncology Research and Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our oncology clinical trials program at OneOncology. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a strategic leadership role, overseeing the development and execution of cutting-edge research initiatives.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing clinical trial protocols, supervising research teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong scientific knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams are essential qualities for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for oncology clinical trials and research initiatives
- Design and review clinical trial protocols to ensure scientific rigor and patient safety
- Supervise research teams, including researchers, statisticians, and data managers
- Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Monitor and analyze trial progress, outcomes, and safety data to inform decision-making
- Analyze trial results and contribute to scientific publications and presentations
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, applicants should possess:
- MD or DO degree and board certification in hematology/oncology
- Proven track record of leading clinical trials and research initiatives
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
