We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at CivicMinds, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist licensed physical therapists in carrying out prescribed treatment programs, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and rehabilitation. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans;
  • Providing direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist;
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans;
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program or equivalent education;
  • Current valid State license/registration/certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations;
  • Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills;
  • Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques frequently throughout the day;
  • Visual acuity sufficient to maintain accurate records and recognize people;
  • Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
