Job Description:

Lankenau Medical Center seeks a dynamic leader to fill the role of Outpatient Oncology Nurse Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee 22 employees in the Radiation Oncology Units, ensuring the highest level of care while prioritizing patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 22 employees in the Radiation Oncology Units, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient safety, quality of care, and employee satisfaction
  • Collaborate with nursing leaders across all campuses to share best practices and drive system-wide improvements
  • Oversee the Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, and O/P Cancer Centers, ensuring seamless coordination of care
  • Participate in hospital/system strategic planning and development, contributing to the advancement of patient-centered care

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in Oncology nursing
  • Prior management or leadership experience required
  • BSN degree; OCN certification preferred; MSN degree preferred with OCN certification within 2 years of hire
  • PA RN license or multi-state license verified through the Nursing Licensure Compact
  • Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) certification
