Join Hallmark US Springboard as a Retail Merchandiser in Vermont. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your organizational skills, ability to establish retailer relationships, and be the face of the company. You will work independently to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and collaborate with local store teams.
About the RoleThis part-time position requires a variable schedule during the work week, with weekly hours ranging from 12 to 16 hours per week. You may be required to work on weekends and major holidays, which can include availability the week before and after these events. The starting pay is estimated to be between $15.00 and $16.00 per hour, depending on your shift and location.
Key Responsibilities- Day-to-day engagement: Restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Utilize a mobile device to communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys for required merchandising activities.
- Holiday support: Lead up to and follow holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, with additional days and extended hours during the work week.
- Department Resets: Participate in installations and tasks like building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, as well as resetting card sections. You may be asked to support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations.
This role requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also be required to stoop, squat, walk, and stand throughout your workday, and you may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.
Basic Qualifications- You're at least 18 years of age.
- You're able to read, write, and understand English.
- You have the ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to operate hand-held technology provided to open and read documents and interpret information.
- You have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
- You have reliable transportation to report to assigned locations.
