We are seeking a motivated Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer with a foundation in backend technologies to join our AI-focused team. As a Backend Engineer, you will work on designing, developing, and implementing scalable backend systems in collaboration with our AI Platform team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with researchers and scientists to understand backend requirements
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable backend systems
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to support AI-driven applications
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring speed, security, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing backend systems as necessary
  • Contribute to the documentation of backend systems and processes
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in backend development, cloud services, and AI technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience, graduate degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of professional or internship experience in backend development, with hands-on knowledge of server-side technologies
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS with some knowledge of Azure)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
