Job Overview

This role plays a critical part in helping us achieve our mission. As an Inside Sales Associate, you'll provide superior service to our customers via phone, ensuring they get the materials they need, when they need them. Your goal is to support our contractor customers in completing their jobs efficiently and effectively.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Providing friendly and helpful customer service, understanding customer needs, and offering solutions to meet those needs;
  • Processing and scheduling customer orders, managing open orders, and customer bids;
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of products and services offered by Famous Supply;
  • Working collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless service delivery;
  • Communicating effectively with customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues promptly;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Technical knowledge of plumbing/mechanical systems;
  • A customer-centric mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in using computer applications and software relevant to the position;
