Job Summary

This position involves safeguarding individuals and property at assigned county facilities. The successful candidate will make rounds, direct visitors, and work with law enforcement personnel as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily interior and exterior patrols of facilities
  • Assist and direct visitors, as required
  • Work with Sheriff's deputies to operate security equipment, including metal detectors and x-ray machines
  • Perform opening and closing duties for facilities
  • Other related duties as may be required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid PA driver's license, and be at least 21 years old. Prior experience in security or law enforcement is also required.

Work Environment

The work environment is typically moderate, with occasional exposure to noise. The successful candidate must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
