Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Convalescent Center in Nespelem, Washington. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by our Nursing Assistants.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Supervise and train Nursing Assistants to ensure they are providing excellent care and following facility policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care is provided to our residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements

  • Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Washington.
  • 12 months of experience in a long-term care facility, preferred.
  • Valid Washington State Drivers' License and eligibility for the Tribes' Vehicle Insurance.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
  • Knowledge of nursing, medical practices, and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
