HVAC Superintendent

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Superintendent to join our team at Integrity Placement Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of commercial HVAC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily job site operations and maintain adequate materials for crews.
• Enhance job site efficiency and controls costs.
• Coordinate scheduling with sales and management, including material staging.
• Oversee site foremen and train personnel in HVAC work.
• Address client and crew questions regarding scheduling and issues.
• Inspect ongoing work and communicate progress to management.
• Schedule pre-planning sessions with clients and subcontractors.
• Maintain job site records, including daily reports.
• Monitor progress and controls costs while providing material support.
• Prepare estimates for minor change orders and assist with major ones.
• Attend weekly scheduling meetings and communicate material needs.
• Complete repairs and installations per industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections and provide reports for proposals or maintenance.
• Update purchase orders and shares costs with the team.
• Follow customer procedures for work orders and billing.
• Update work orders with notes and photos.
• Submit recommended work for timely proposals.
• Maintain a professional appearance and takes initiative to resolve problems.
• Travel to locations to diagnose HVAC issues.
• Consult blueprints for optimal HVAC solutions.
• Report on inventory and follows loss prevention practices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Requires 5-10 years of experience in Commercial HVAC systems preferably at least 5 years as a Foreman.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of business and finance.
• Ability to support others in achieving success.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication for project coordination and issue resolution.
• Capable of building trust with clients and ensuring a positive experience throughout the project.
• Ability to read blueprints and repair manuals.
• Good customer service skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety, following rules, practicing safe habits, and reporting hazards.

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 7am-4pm.
• Evening shift / On Call Opportunities.
• Overtime.
• Covers Charlotte to Manatee County.
