We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Advocate to join our team as a Per Diem Direct Support Professional. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others while working in a dynamic and innovative environment.

About the Job
The Per Diem Direct Support Professional will provide support to adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities to have a higher quality of life. As a DSP, you will promote the health, safety, and well-being of the people we support, serve as an advocate for their rights, and empower them to reach their goals in a positive, life-enriching environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide individualized support to program participants that meets their unique needs
* Promote community integration through activities such as swimming, exercise, and social events
* Create a nurturing, safe, and healthy living environment that fosters independence and self-advocacy
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and consistent communication
* Develop and implement Individual Instruction and Support Plans (IISPs) that align with participant goals and preferences

Requirements and Qualifications
* High School Diploma or Equivalent required
* 1+ year experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
* Ability to lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
* First Aid/CPR certification a plus
