Job Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Lancaster County. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in the initial intake and management of original court documents.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of office experience that includes computer data entry. They should be proficient in the operation of basic office equipment, including computers, copiers, and other devices.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to type/keyboard proficiently. You will also need to communicate effectively and tactfully with the public in person and on the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, reviewing, conforming, verifying and/or entering documents into database
  • General Docketing
  • Scanning
  • Filing
  • File Preparation
  • Phone/Mail Assistance

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Working Environment:

You will be working in a team environment with other PFA team members, attending weekly hearings in court, and interacting with judicial staff. The position also requires regular interaction with attorneys and pro se litigants, as well as handling stressful situations tactfully and effectively.
