As an Enforcement Specialist in our Community Development Department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of life for our residents and visitors.


Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Enforcement Specialist to join our team at the City of Antioch.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Investigate complaints of violations of the Antioch Municipal Code, including Officer, Business, Compliance, and Property-related issues.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to identify and address code violations.
  • Collaborate with other city departments to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance with city ordinances.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent code violations and promote community compliance.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with the public, businesses, and other stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business Administration, Public Administration, or Environmental Studies.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in code enforcement, compliance, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to code enforcement.
