Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Enforcement Specialist to join our team at the City of Antioch.
Job Responsibilities:
- Investigate complaints of violations of the Antioch Municipal Code, including Officer, Business, Compliance, and Property-related issues.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to identify and address code violations.
- Collaborate with other city departments to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance with city ordinances.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent code violations and promote community compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with the public, businesses, and other stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business Administration, Public Administration, or Environmental Studies.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in code enforcement, compliance, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to code enforcement.
