Job Description

As an Overnight Houseperson at Fairmont Century Plaza, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of our public areas and back-of-house spaces during the overnight hours.

Responsibilities

1. Assist with room setups and ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.
2. Handle guest requests for additional amenities and provide exceptional service.
3. Manage the movement of products/equipment/materials in and/or out of main housekeeping supply rooms.
4. Stock carts and closets with linens, general supplies, and guest supplies essential to the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms.
5. Collect, remove, and dispose of trash and dirty linens from checked-out rooms, as well as trash from public areas under your supervision.
6. Clean outside windows, hallways, stairs, balconies, and railings, trash rooms, elevator landings, ice machine rooms, storage areas, and closets.
7. Deliver and retrieve items to and from guest rooms.
8. Supply arrival rooms with bathrobes.
9. Assist supervisors in completing special requests or miscellaneous projects.
10. Clean and keep orderly all assigned public areas.
11. Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
12. Sign in and out master keys, radios/mobile electronics daily.
13. Familiarize yourself with Hotel's technology and communication platforms, utilizing them to ensure hotel operation and guest satisfaction.
