About the Job
">We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Professional to join our team at Walgreens. This is a full-time opportunity that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
">Job Description
">The Inventory Management Professional will be responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store. This includes both front-end and pharmacy operations, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns. The successful candidate will champion On-Shelf Availability (OSA) and be responsible for receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes. They will also validate and ensure the accuracy of planograms.
">In addition to their technical skills, the Inventory Management Professional must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, management, and customers. They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

">Key responsibilities of the Inventory Management Professional include:

- Executing and maintaining front-end and pharmacy asset protection techniques">
- Filing claims for warehouse and vendor overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods">
- Ensuring accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities">
- Maintaining inventory records and ensuring compliance with state and local laws">
- Supporting physical inventory activities and preparing sales floors, stockrooms, and pharmacies for inventory">
Requirements
">To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

- Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates)">
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask">
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage execution">
- Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending strategies to resolve problems">
Preferred Qualifications
">Candidates with previous experience as a shift lead, pharmacy technician, designated hitter, or customer service associate are preferred. Prior work experience with Walgreens, with an evaluation on file, is also desirable.
">Compensation and Benefits
">The estimated salary for this role is $55,000-$65,000 per year, based on location and experience. As an employee of Walgreens, you will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
