At Hog Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for supervising accounting staff, assisting the CFO in controller duties, and managing the Company's general ledger system, reporting, and financial policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise four staff accountants
  • Take ownership of the Company's ERP System
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by following sound accounting practices
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, collections, payroll, perpetual inventory, and fixed asset transactions
  • Manage the commercial banking relationships
  • Interface with the outside auditing firm, lessors, insurance agents, and credit card companies as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the CFO

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA certification preferred but not required
  • Minimum of five years of hands-on accounting experience, manufacturing experience preferred
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience
  • Well-versed in an ERP System, preferably Sage MAS 100

Work Environment: This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel: Little to none. Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
