Job Description

This is a hands-on role that requires strong organizational and communication skills. As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for trimming and assembling molded products into finished goods within quality and efficiency standards. You will work closely with our production team to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain a high level of productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pull and review work instructions prior to starting a job to ensure you have all necessary information and tools required for each task.
  • Review production priorities to allocate time and resources effectively.
  • Retrieve product for trimming or assembly and move it to designated areas when complete.
  • Finish molded products using various methods designated for the job, including hand and power tools, pallet jacks, hot irons, and open flames.
  • Complete product labels and ensure products are identified throughout each operation.
  • Responsible for final inspection of products and ensure they meet excellent quality standards before shipping to customers.
  • Use a reporting system to record production and track progress.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and write proficiently in English.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to operate and maintain industrial equipment.
Working Conditions
  • Able to work in a hot and humid environment for extended periods.
  • This role is in a typical manufacturing environment, which includes ovens, torches, rotating tools, forklifts, and other moving machinery.
  • Loud work environment may require hearing protection.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds alone and parts more than 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Frequently transport these parts up to 20 feet.
  • Must be able to remain stationary with occasional walking throughout the shift.
Estimated Salary Range

$40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
