About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Western Integrated Technologies. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and organize shipments from various companies, with a focus on UPS and LTL shipments.
  • Pull sales and production orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our inventory management systems.
  • Interact with customers for will calls and provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Operate forklifts and other machinery required for the transportation of heavy items within the warehouse, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Organize and restock products to maintain an efficient warehouse layout, ensuring easy access to inventory.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Provide regular updates to the supervisor regarding inventory, shipments, and deliveries, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

  • Assist customers and address their inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate and helpful information.
  • Stay updated on product information, uses, and industry trends to effectively respond to customer inquiries and provide expert advice.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to performing duties accurately and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in operating basic warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Pays close attention to detail, a skill essential in identifying order discrepancies and product deficiencies.
  • Able to work independently or in a team environment, demonstrating effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various temperature conditions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
