We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team in Tiffin, OH.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have OEM purchasing experience, strong working knowledge of ERP systems, and excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Procurement: Receive project BOMs from project leaders, negotiate pricing and contracts, and analyze market trends for cost reduction opportunities.">
  • Reporting: Maintain ERP system reports, track open orders, receipts, and resolve issues.">
  • Vendor Performance: Review vendor performance, ensure contract compliance, and manage performance improvement activities.">
  • Production Meetings: Attend weekly meetings to provide procurement status updates.">
  • Demonstrate leadership skills while mentoring and developing team members.">

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or business degree.">
  • Experience in OEM procurement management with mechanical aptitude.">
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.">
  • A positive attitude and ability to adapt to change.">
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.">
