Pediatric Speech Therapist

About the JobWe are seeking a skilled Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our allied health team, you will work with patients of all ages, providing expert care and support to help them overcome speech, language, and hearing disorders.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed to practice in Arizona. You will possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic testing procedures to determine the extent of patient impairment and prognosis for improvement.
- Analyze test results and create individualized treatment plans to meet each patient's unique needs.
- Prepare electronic documentation, including evaluation results, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Consult with physicians and other medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide instruction and training to patients and their families/caregivers on therapeutic procedures.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure to practice as a Speech Pathologist in Arizona.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
- National Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through ASHA or be eligible to obtain within one year of hire.
