Supply Delivery Specialist

Job Description:
As a Driver-Non CDL Delivery, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering materials to customer sites. You will adhere to driver safety and compliance regulations, deliver undamaged goods on schedule, and provide professional service to customers. This role involves driving vehicles weighing 10,001-26,000 pounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and securing product, materials, or supplies inside the delivery vehicle.
- Delivering customer orders to specified delivery sites and unloading materials safely and accurately.
- Verifying order details and maintaining logs of delivery duties, including amounts and/or weights of items, mileage, and locations of deliveries.
- Acting as a customer service liaison between BFS and site customers, handling concerns, and helping resolve issues.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles and performing routine safety checks to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
- Operating a forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment to load and offload materials to designated areas.
- Understanding and observing all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury to self or coworkers.
Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, you must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 21 years old, and possess a valid driver's license. Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials and delivery equipment, is desirable. You must also pass a MVR report, obtain a DOT medical card, and demonstrate basic math and measurement skills, as well as the ability to read and speak English fluently.

This role requires strong relationship-building skills, teamwork, customer focus, and conflict resolution abilities. As a Supply Delivery Specialist, you will work collaboratively with teammates to achieve common goals and provide excellent customer service.
Work Environment and Physical Activity:
This position involves working in a production environment with temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels, and dust. You must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds frequently and occasionally lift and carry up to 200 pounds with assistance. This role may require climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling and operating delivery vehicles.
