Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert

Citizant is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and solutions to protect our systems and client data. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in identifying and mitigating threats and vulnerabilities within cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and solutions to protect Citizant's and client systems.
- Conduct security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability analyses to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide expert guidance on security protocols, tools, and technologies to ensure the highest level of protection for systems and data across various platforms.
- Lead incident response efforts to ensure swift identification, containment, and resolution of cybersecurity incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enforce security policies and protocols.
Requirements:
- 7 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, focusing on cloud security and penetration testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new threats and changes in the cybersecurity landscape.
- Proficiency in conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating complex cybersecurity concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and other relevant certifications.
Clearance Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must have an ACTIVE public trust or the ability to obtain one.
