Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join our team at The Children\u0027s Hospital of Philadelphia. As a Clinical Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our laboratory operations, ensuring the highest quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing tasks, including venipuncture and capillary phlebotomy
  • Identify patient specimens and verify patient identity
  • Process and deliver specimens to the laboratory for analysis
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to ensure efficient laboratory operations

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical Diploma in Phlebotomy preferred
  • Scientific laboratory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic biology, chemistry, and English language
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
