Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Comhar Inc. in the Philadelphia area.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide evaluation and therapy services to clients, including children, youth, and young adults, with mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs. They will also be responsible for monitoring treatment planning and goals, as well as providing supervision and direction to identified staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate clients' mental health needs through interviews and standardized psychological assessment tools.
  • Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy services to increase clients' emotional health and adaptive functioning.
  • Document all work with clients and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on treatment plans and modalities.
  • Provide clinical supervision to designated staff as requested.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited psychology graduate training program.
  • Independent licensure in good standing as a psychologist.
  • At least two years of paid experience providing child/adolescent mental health or addiction services.
  • Maintain current professional liability insurance.
  • Member of a professional organization devoted to psychology or child/adolescent mental health.
  • Current and valid Pennsylvania psychology license in good standing.

Compensation:

The salary for this position is $62 per hour, offering a competitive compensation package.
