Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at ProCare Therapy in Tacoma, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives.
**Estimated Salary Range:**$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
**Job Description:**The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. They will provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment, and adhere to the requirements outlined below.
**Responsibilities:**- Develop and Implement IEPs: Design and execute personalized education plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
- Provide Specialized Instruction: Offer tailored teaching and support services to facilitate students' academic and social growth.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with educators, therapists, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education: A degree in Special Education or a related field is required.
- Active License/Certification in WA in Special Education Teaching: The successful candidate must hold an active teaching license/certification in Special Education from the state of Washington.
- Prior Experience Working with Students with Special Needs: While not mandatory, prior experience working with students with special needs is highly desirable.
