About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nephrology Physician to join our team as a locum tenens physician. This is an excellent career opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to take on new challenges and grow their expertise.

As a Nephrology Physician with ProLocums, you will be working in a dynamic environment with a strong focus on patient care and satisfaction. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality medical services to patients requiring dialysis or other nephrological treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Providing comprehensive medical care to patients with renal diseases, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and end-stage renal disease.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conducting regular rounds and assessments to ensure timely and effective interventions, minimizing complications and improving patient outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress, including laboratory results, medication lists, and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Active Maryland License
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Nephrology
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Nephrology
Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation packages, including a salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
