Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team in the Ultrasound Department at SSM Health. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure.

This is a PRN (Per Diem) shift position, which means you will work variable hours as needed. You will be part of a dynamic team that values quality patient care and excellent communication skills.

Requirements
  • A registered sonographer holding two or more registries appropriate for the department(s) in which the sonographer works.
  • No experience required.
Estimated Salary Range:

$37.65 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials and overtime pay.

About the Role

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing routine and complex studies.
  • Assisting in various imaging procedures.
  • Recognizing significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
  • Maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Working in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Education and Experience

You must have an Associate's degree or completion of a Sonography certification program. No experience is required, but a strong foundation in ultrasound principles and practices is essential.
