Job Description:

Interpath Laboratory is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist/Processor to join our team in Pendleton, OR. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of clinical laboratory operations, including patient reception, specimen collection, processing, and reporting for all entities owned or affiliated with Interpath Laboratory, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing excellent customer service and answering phones
Monitoring instrumentation alarms and performing screening procedures
Verifying specimen information and performing data entry
Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and team members
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently

Pay and Schedule:

$23.02 Per Hour DOE
Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm

Location:
2460 SW Perkins Ave.

Working Conditions:

Laboratory setting with automated machines and high staff activity
Must be able to hear and respond to safety hazards in a timely manner
Regularly exposed to infection by handling potentially infectious samples

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, crawl, bend, and twist as needed
Requires walking on non-level surfaces, inside and outside the office, throughout the day
Ability to work long hours and overtime as needed
Lifting up to 30 pounds
