PET/CT Technologist Job Summary

At Rhode Island Hospital, we are seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team. Your expertise will enable physicians to diagnose with pinpoint accuracy and treat with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-screen patients for contraindications and ensure aseptic injection technique.
  • Operate PET/CT scanners and peripheral equipment, including monitors and PACS.
  • Effectively communicate with customers and radiologists to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Associate's Degree.
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) required.
  • AHA BLS certification required.
  • 1-2 years of PET imaging experience or 1-2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies preferred.
