Job Title: Morning Server

Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and courteous Morning Server to join our team at Delta Hotels by Marriott. As a Morning Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring that they have a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Attend Pre-Shift Meetings: Attend all pre-shift meetings to improve communication and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities.
• Menu Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations.
• Customer Service: Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests.
• Payment and Accuracy: Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors.
• Restocking and Cleaning: Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties.

Qualifications:

• Education: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED).
• Communication Skills: Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers.
• Experience: Prior food service industry experience is highly desired.
• Customer Focus: Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience.
• Organizational Skills: Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills.
