Gymnastics Coach

We are seeking a qualified Gymnastics Instructor to join our team at the YMCA of Southwest Florida.

• Plan and teach daily gymnastics sessions for children of all ages and skill levels.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Supervise open gym time, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for participants.
• Maintain accurate records of participant progress, injuries, and accidents.

1. Teach Saturday morning parent & tot and pre-gym classes.
2. Supervise birthday parties and ensure smooth event execution.
3. Perform cleaning and maintenance duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
4. Attend staff meetings and contribute to team discussions.
5. Document injuries or accidents and report them to the director.

• Certifications in CPR, First Aid, YMCA Blood Borne Pathogens Training, Child Sexual Abuse Prevention class, and Staff Safety Requirements/Cleaning Protocols.
• Strong knowledge of gymnastics instruction and the YMCA of USA's guidelines and recommendations.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and perform various dance movements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Competitive hourly rate: $12-$17/hour (dependent on experience).
