About the Job
St. Charles Health System is seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Professional to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our medical facility.

Key Responsibilities
* Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for physician assessments.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical data and test results.
* Assist physicians with responding to patient inquiries and requests from other medical professionals.
* Perform various procedures as requested by physicians, such as administering injections or collecting lab samples.
* Maintain equipment, supplies, and inventory levels to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification a plus.
* Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CM/CPT/HCPCS coding conventions essential.
* Previous experience working in a medical office setting preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
* Competitive salary: $45,000 per year (18 hours per week).
