Master Scheduler: Optimization and Excellence

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Master Scheduler to join our dynamic team at Plasser American Corp. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in optimizing production schedules and ensuring efficient resource allocation across diverse business units.
About the Role- Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules for multiple business units, taking into account low volume and high product mix requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and ensure alignment between production schedules and business objectives.
The successful candidate will leverage advanced planning techniques to optimize resource utilization, minimize lead times, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule Development: Create and maintain detailed production schedules for multiple business units, considering complex production needs.
- Resource Allocation: Ensure efficient resource allocation across diverse business units, minimizing bottlenecks and delays.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Bottleneck Management: Proactively identify and address scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and potential issues, implementing solutions to ensure on-time delivery.
- Integration: Seamlessly integrate scheduling processes with Infor LN ERP system, ensuring accurate data management and reporting.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to scheduling and production, providing regular reports and insights to management.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Master Scheduler role within a multi-business unit industrial manufacturing setting.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge and proficiency in working with the Infor LN ERP system.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a keen attention to detail.
We are offering a competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $125,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include 80 hours of paid time off during the first year, 10 paid holidays per year, and a comprehensive 401(k) matching program.
