Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor Lead to join our team at St. Luke's University Health Network.

About the Role:

The Senior Network Internal Auditor will be responsible for performing various financial and operational audits to determine compliance with the Network's policies and procedures. This role involves testing transactions and processes throughout the Network, conducting risk assessments, and recommending process improvements to Network management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Audit Network compliance with established policies and procedures for critical processes.
  • Perform periodic risk assessments to evaluate processes and identify risk areas throughout the Network.
  • Conduct interviews and research to gain an understanding of the process being audited.
  • Communicate audit notifications, objectives, status, results, and follow-up to auditees and management.
  • Present formal audit reports to the Network Audit & Compliance Committee of the Board of Trustees as needed.
  • Recommend corrective action and performance improvement throughout the Network.
  • Maintain working knowledge of relevant issues, laws, regulations, best practices, tools, and techniques as they relate to internal controls and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Network Compliance Department in evaluating risks identified and procedures to be performed.
  • Assist Vice President and Assoc. Vice President of Finance with financial duties or special projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a CPA OR CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certification required.
  • Five years of internal or public accounting/auditing experience. Two years of financial health care experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Sitting up to 7 hours per day, 3 hours at a time.
  • Continuously uses fingers and hands for typing, data entry, etc.
  • Uses upper extremities to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Frequently stoops, bends, and reaches above shoulder level.
  • Hearing as it relates to normal conversation and telephone.
  • Seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, and peripheral vision.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is around $95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. As a full-time employee, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with flexible start times between 7-9 AM. Hybrid remote work is available at the discretion of senior leadership.
