Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Implementation Engineer to join our team at Blue Rock Consulting. As a key member of our network infrastructure team, you will be responsible for installing and configuring network infrastructure that supports business-critical services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Design and deploy network architectures that meet the needs of our clients, including enterprise and public cloud networking technologies.
  • Collaborate with regional engineering counterparts to deliver consistent, stable, and scalable network solutions.
  • Provide hands-on support for project implementation activities and upgrade programs, including troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.

Requirements:

  • CCNP-level or above certification in network engineering.
  • Strong technical skills in network operations, deployment, and management, with experience in enterprise and financial environments.
  • Good knowledge of core networking technologies, including routing, switching, multicast, network security, and network management on a Cisco IOS/NX-OS infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Cisco management platforms, such as DCNM and DNAC, and experience with VPN solutions, including Cisco ASA, Firepower, and AnyConnect.
  • Extensive knowledge of network routing protocols, including OSPF and BGP, and their deployment within virtualized environments.
  • Understanding of network security, including Fortinet competence for firewall administration and support, as well as ISE and NAC deployments as network authentication solutions.
  • Knowledge of WAN architectures and experience with wireless technologies, including controllers and access points, and associated management platforms.
  • Experience with protocol analyzers and decoding skills, including Wireshark interpretation, and competent in using network monitoring tools, such as Opsware, SevOne, Corvil, ThousandEyes, and SMARTS.
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as Ansible and Python, is a plus.
