Senior Sales Team Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our team at DXL Group, the largest specialty retailer of men's Big +Tall apparel. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and developing a high-performing sales team.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong passion for customer service, sales coaching, and team development. You will work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales plans, monitor customer satisfaction, and maintain a high level of product knowledge. Additionally, you will assist in building a superior customer-focused sales team through ongoing coaching and training.
Key Responsibilities- Spend quality time with each guest to understand their needs, preferences, and lifestyle, ensuring a welcoming experience that exceeds expectations.
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales plans, monitoring customer satisfaction, inventory, expense control, and risk management.
- Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge to effectively sell and market a broad range of apparel, including private labels, name brands, and tailored clothing.
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to build a high-performing sales team, focusing on selling skills, behaviors, and operational procedures.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in an Assistant Store Manager role, with 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Previous involvement working in a commission-oriented environment is a plus.
- Ability to travel to neighboring store locations as needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 10 lbs. and move up to 50 lbs.

Compensation and BenefitsEstimated annual salary: $65,000 - $85,000 based on experience and location. Additional benefits include quarterly bonuses, opportunities for career advancement, and a dynamic work environment.
