Job Description

Security Systems Installation and Repair Professional

Philadelphia, PA area

$32.00 Hourly

Trotter Workforce is seeking a skilled Security Systems Installation and Repair Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in alarm systems and will be able to troubleshoot and repair systems to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Install, test, and maintain various security systems, including CCTV and intrusion detection systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on security systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Troubleshoot and repair security systems to identify and resolve any technical issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to identify their security needs and provide recommendations for system upgrades or new installations.
  • Use computer hardware and power tools to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
  • Telecommunicate with customers and technical team members to coordinate maintenance and repair services.
  • Read blueprints and design documents to understand system layouts and requirements.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex installations and repairs.
  • Detect and address any security breaches or system malfunctions.

Requirements

  • NICET Certification
  • Experience with CCTV and other security systems.
  • Strong understanding of power tools and computer hardware.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design documents.
  • Experience with system design and installation.
  • Ability to detect and address security breaches or system malfunctions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
