Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC technician to join our team at The Greenbrier Hotel. As a skilled mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout our property.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, with experience working on a variety of systems, including commercial and residential units. You will also possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting of system malfunctions
  • Installation and replacement of new equipment
  • Preventative maintenance and building checks
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Journeyman certification preferred
  • Valid West Virginia driver's license
  • EPA refrigerant certification
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly
  • Physical stamina to work in confined spaces and at heights
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair
  • Experience working on commercial and residential HVAC systems
  • Knowledge of HVAC control systems and electronics
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and basic drafting
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
