Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our Radiology team at Martin County Hospital District. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing Ultrasound procedures with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Ultrasound procedures in accordance with physicians' orders, exam protocols, and instructions.
  • Instruct patients regarding procedures to ensure cooperation and optimal test results.
  • Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment and maintain ultrasound and vascular equipment in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate department records, reports, and files as directed.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program or an accredited Radiologic Technology program with cross-training in Ultrasound.
  • RDMS certification in one or more areas: Abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, echo, or Radiologic Technologist certification with ARRT registration.
  • CPR certification for Health Care Providers.
  • Minimum two years of experience as a sonographer, with proficiency in all general studies.
  • Experience in vascular preferred.
