Power Transformer Field Installation Contract Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Power Transformer Field Installation Contract Specialist to join our team at WEG Transformers USA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the installation and testing of power transformers in the field, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the receiving, installing, assembling, and testing of power transformers in the field
- Review specifications to determine technical requirements and define the scope of work
- Conduct discussions with customers to clearly establish their requirements and ensure a clear understanding of the service
- Obtain advice and assistance from other departments as appropriate
- Engage with customers and contractors to ensure successful project completion
Requirements:
- Associates degree from an accredited two-year college or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of transformer design and troubleshooting or ability to learn
- Ability to work with diverse groups and manage projects through to completion
- Ability to work extensively with computer programs, i.e., spreadsheets and custom programs
- Current work authorization for employment in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Five years of experience in transformer design, manufacturing, or service
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
