Senior Clinical Operations Director

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Clinical Operations Director to lead critical functions across our business, including expansion strategy, new vertical launches, supply chain management, clinical team management, product operations, internal process optimization, and other strategic projects. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to seamlessly shift between high-level strategic thinking and detail-oriented execution, wearing multiple hats each day.
This role requires excellent management and mentoring skills, as well as outstanding communication abilities to resolve conflicts and issues. A deep respect for policies and ethics is essential, and the ability to inspire that in others is a must.
The goal is to ensure the smooth running of the clinical department, aiming for maximum performance. Key responsibilities include contributing operational perspective to key strategic decisions, hiring and developing junior operational team members, generating key analytical insights on business performance, summarizing recurring data into easy-to-use dashboards, and partnering with the clinical team to implement efficiency recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute operational expertise to strategic decision-making processes
- Hire, develop, and manage a high-performing operational team
- Analyze business performance using SQL and Excel/Google Sheets
- Create actionable dashboards for the entire team
- Collaborate with the clinical team to drive process improvements and launch new initiatives
- Manage rollout of PC structure in existing and expansion states
- Assist with insurance billing infrastructure development
- Support the launch and maintenance of new partnerships
- Report directly to the Head of Operations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in technology, startups, consulting, or a similar environment
- 2+ years of experience in a startup or resource-constrained, high-growth environment
- Action-oriented problem solver with a track record of success scaling teams and projects
- Excellent analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional interests and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, structured thinking, and extreme ownership mentality
- Preferred: 2+ years of people management experience
