Patient Care Associate II

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate II to join our team in Belmont, Massachusetts.
This is a 24-hour evening shift position, providing patient care and support under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign taking, assistance with daily living activities, and phlebotomy procedures.
- Prepare patient rooms for admission, orient patients and families to the unit, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Assist with activities such as hygiene, elimination needs, ambulation, and nourishment, and perform these activities for patients who are unable to care for themselves.
- Document patient data in the medical record, maintain accurate records, and report significant changes to the Registered Nurse.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient care and smooth unit operations.
- CPR training required; phlebotomy training and experience preferred.
- High school graduate or equivalent; six months of experience as a Nursing Assistant, or completion of a formal program with clinical rotation.
